Keynote Speech: Embodied Robots Empowering Solar PV Power Plants

That afternoon, Chen Guanyang, CBO of Skysys, delivered a speech titled AI Empowering Solar PV Power Plants: Embodied Drone Innovative O&M Solutions. Drawing on the company’s eight years of deep experience in intelligent O&M for new energy, he analyzed the real-world challenges facing solar PV power plants, such as low inspection efficiency and high cleaning costs, and introduced how Skysys uses an embodied intelligence solution combining "drones + robots + AI platform" to achieve a fully automated closed loop from aerial inspection to ground cleaning. The speech sparked strong interest among attendees, and after the session, representatives from many companies had in-depth exchanges with the Skysys team.
PART.03
Product Focus: Little Blue Solar PV Cleaning Robot
在In solar PV O&M practice, complex scenarios such as mountains, slopes, and residential rooftops impose higher requirements on cleaning robots. Skysys’ "Little Blue" solar PV cleaning robot features tracked movement and a body adhesion design, enabling stable operation on solar panels with a maximum tilt of 30°, and has obstacle-crossing capabilities of 80mm spacing and 35mm height difference. Little Blue can be carried manually or deployed by drone, making it especially suitable for high-tilt mountain sites, highway slopes, load-restricted rooftops, and residential distributed projects. Currently, Little Blue has achieved regular application in residential and slope solar PV scenarios in Tianjin, Jiangsu, and other locations, with measured power generation efficiency increases of over 8%.
